Cycling in the Tux Valley

Let's head to the Tuxerjoch

Up high? No problem at all! The Hintertux-Bichlalm-Tuxerjoch trail for beginners takes you up to an impressive 2,300 meters above sea level and to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the entire Tux Valley. Via Juns, you’ll reach Hintertux in about 15 minutes. From here, the trail gets a bit steeper and follows a well-maintained gravel road through forests and past high-altitude alpine pastures.

The first stop is the Bichlalm snack bar; the route then continues to the Sommerbergalm and the Tuxerjoch-Haus. Here, you’ve certainly earned a bite to eat from the house’s traditional cuisine! The length of this tour is about 24 kilometers, for which you should plan about 2.5 hours.
